Firmware 3.1.1221.0. I am trying to connect to a windows 10 Professional (Version 1803, build 17134.523) and following the steps with the bluetooth control panel, and pressing the front button to make the xbox logo flash faster, to be discoverable, it never shows up in windows to pair with. I tried this on my work laptop, and the same thing.
Step 2 Reinstall the Bluetooth drivers - 1) Right click on the start or Windows icon and open Device Manager. 2) Expand Network Adapter. 3) Right click on the Bluetooth drivers and click on uninstall. 4) Restart the computer. Also, try updating the computer - Step 3 Windows Updates - 1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
If you couldn't find it to download, go to Device Manager and select the Bluetooth device, right click, and click update. Alternatively, after removing the Bluetooth driver, let windows find the driver for you (within Windows Update) Here's what I've tried: Updated BT from device manager, restarted. Deleted BT driver, downloaded from Dell
When I open device manager, there is no bluetooth option. Other recommendations relate to having buetooth devices. I do not have any devices, the only thing I have is the dongle and it is plugged into the computer. It used to work until I updated to windows 10. I am not sure what I could do. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
So DS4 works fine on my laptop with Windows 11 Pro. But thats because the PS4 Controller uses bluetooth. Also my Nvidia Shield controller works just fine on my laptop, yet again because of bluetooth. But as I said, my PC has no bluetooth. And the problem is that Windows doesn't detect both controllers, Device Manager doesn't create entries in HID.
So if you want to take the risk, you can install Windows 11 and see if it works out. To upgrade an unsupported machine, you must create a registry key that will bypass the TPM 2.0 and CPU model checks. Messing around with registry keys comes with risks of its own, so make sure you know what you're doing before attempting this.
Can someone please help me how I can be able to use Wi-fi and Bluetooth in my Windows 10 PC since I can't find them anywhere. I have have Ethernet option. I've tried all the tutorials and helps, but nothing's working for me. I also can't turn up or down the display brightness. This thread is locked. You can vote as helpful, but you cannot reply
To turn it on, simply click the toggle and make sure it’s highlighted. When Bluetooth is turned off, this toggle will say ‘Off’ so it’s easy to spot. When connected to a device, you’ll
Once you're back in the previous version, you can connect your phone using the Bluetooth & Other devices page in the Settings app, and then simply reinstall Windows 10 build 15031 on your computer
Edit: I will add, that in any case, I do recomemend using them with Bluetooth if possible. It's nice to be able to have the freedom of movement while at a PC. If your PC doesn't have bluetooth, there are cheap $20 adapters that work very well, and you just plug it into a spare USB slot.
