The 690 isn't massively faster until around 60mph where the DRZ starts to taper off the 690 pulls like a train pretty much until 100, and can go on to 120ish. It has a bigger fuel tank and better MPG but I can easily strap a fuel can on my DRZ. The dash on the 690 is nicer but 99% chance of breaking in some way due to vibrations, mines been fixed.

I changed my 125cc bike for the KTM 690-smc-r 2020. It depends on your own skill wether this bike is good for you or not. The most difficult about this bike is riding slow in trafiic. Around 50 km/h is to slow for third but to fast for 2nd gear. This makes the bike a bit nervous.
